The Global Youth Coalition is a youth-led organization seeking to empower young people as community leaders to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS. More than 4,000 members work together to share best practices and create sustainable solutions to an urgent global problem. With offices in New York and Ghana, GYCA is truly on the front lines of the fight against HIV/AIDS.
One of the greatest parts of interning at a place like GYCA is feeling like you’re really making a difference. Interns work on primarily administrative and capacity building initiatives out of the NY office, but placements in Ghana are sometimes available. GYCA does not offer paid internships, but offers special incentives like the opportunity to attend United Nations General Assembly events on the organization’s behalf.
More information about the positions can be found on www.Idealist.org. Send your cover letter and resume to HR@youthaidscoalition.org.
