Student Internships with the Earthwatch Institute

Earthwatch was founded in 1971, and is one to the largest environmental volunteer organizations in the world Earthwatch organizes volunteer expeditions around the world to take part in projects that seek sustainable solutions to environmental problems. Volunteers work alongside scientists on expeditions at more than 120 sites in 40 countries.

Interning for Earthwatch Institute

Earthwatch Institute has internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students interested in environmental protection issues and research. Positions are available year round, and most offer college credits rather than pay. Earthwatch interns can also earn credits toward expeditions, which are offered to other volunteers at a cost. Internships are available in a variety of departments, but all report to the Maynard, MA office and not to any expedition site.

How to Apply:

Students interested in an Earthwatch internship can submit a cover letter and resume to the Institute by email (hr@earthwatch.org), regular mail, or fax. Learn more about their internships at: www.earthwatch.org/aboutus/jobs.
