The Working Group on Children Recruited by Terrorist and Violent Extremist Groups was founded following the need to address violent extremism through tailored approaches and to implement comprehensive strategies to prevent violence against children. Our vision is a world in which the recruitment of children by terrorist groups is prevented and every child victim of terrorist exploitation receive rehabilitation and reintegration support that is essential to rebuild a dignified life. Our mission is to protect children from terrorist trafficking and to inspire a long-lasting change in the way in which child victims of terrorist violence are treated.
