Refugee Relief

Refugee Relief is a new  501c3 non-profit that launched in the Fall of 2018. It was birthed after the founder, Scott Steinloski, visited a refugee camp in northern Uganda. He witnessed starvation, disease, malnutrition, and lack of basic human necessities. It was obvious to him that current relief efforts were unable to keep up with the flood of refugees pouring into Uganda from its war-torn neighbors. 

This situation is not unique to Uganda. Every year, millions of refugees are forced from their homes due to war, conflict, and persecution. 85% of refugees never come to Europe or the United States. Most flee into neighboring impoverished countries with little resources. They are at the mercy of the host country and any relief agencies working in the area.

Our vision is to bring hope to refugees struggling to survive regardless of their religious affiliation. We follow the example of Christ by providing the necessities of life for refugees around the world. To accomplish this we partner with in-country churches, ministries, and non-profit organizations already successfully serving the refugee population.
